The 2025 Jandowae Campdraft was a huge success, drawing over 250 competitors and plenty of visitors to town over the Easter long weekend.

Thanks to the hardworking volunteers and organisers, the event ran smoothly—and we were proud to support it through sponsorship and earlier funding for a water infrastructure upgrade at the showgrounds. This upgrade made it easier to manage livestock and helped more caravanners stay on-site, boosting local tourism.

Wambo Wind Farm Construction Director Stuart Black caught up with Campdraft Secretary Louise Binder to see the improvements in action. Louise said the weekend was a great one for families and praised the community’s generosity.

“People really appreciated the easy access to water for horses, stock, and caravans,” she said.

The event also raised funds for the Taralga Retirement Village—another great outcome for the community.

A big congratulations to Louise and the team for their efforts and thank you for letting us be part of something so positive for Jandowae.
