Blue trees for mental health

The Blue Tree Project has taken root in Diamondy, with trees painted blue around the site reminding our people working on site and our community about the importance of having open conversations about mental health.
Construction Director, Stuart Black shared his thoughts on the Blue Tree initiative.
"There are around 300 people working on site and a large number are working away from their homes, families and friends for extended periods. That brings lots of challenges.
“The trees are about encouraging everyone to speak up and to check in on your mates because a simple conversation can make a big difference.
“The Wambo Blue trees join others all over Australia to ensure no one feels like they must face their struggles alone”.
There are some great resources to help have a conversation available on the RUok webpage here: A conversation could change a life | R U OK?
Thank you to Glenn Mount from the Yurika team for bringing this initiative together. The site crews are collecting donations for the Blue Tree Project here: Fundraiser by Glenn Mount : Wambo Wind Farm Blue Tree Project.
