The Jandowae State School, led by Principal JB Mohr, has partnered with the Wambo Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund to launch the "I'm a Hear-o" initiative.

This program ensures that every child at the school receives a hearing test and assessment, providing each student with an individual report to help give them every chance of success in their educational outcomes.

The team at ‘Hear to Learn’ completed the screening over two days with the goal of facilitating early detection and intervention, the "I'm a Hear-o" initiative aims to ensure every child in Jandowae can hear, learn, and thrive.

Principal JB Mohr expressed his gratitude, saying, "We are incredibly thankful for the support from the Wambo Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund. This initiative will make a real difference in our students' lives, and help to give our students a life of choice not chance”.
