This is Kane Roberts, Vestas' Site Installation Manager. Kane Roberts has spent more than two decades in the wind energy industry – and for him, seeing the first turbine at Wambo Wind Farm feed power into the grid was a career moment.

“It’s a huge milestone for the project. It’s been a fair mission to get there, but it’s a huge win,” he said. Kane joined the Wambo team in 2025 and brings deep experience in turbine installation, having started with Vestas 21 years ago in a blade manufacturing facility.

“As an installation manager, I handle everything from components arriving on site to installation and handover to our commissioning team.”
