Bell Golf Club’s members can now escape the sun and still enjoy the best that Bell has to offer, thanks to the pergola erected atop the club house’s event space.

The club received funding through the Wambo Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund on two occasions in 2024, supporting projects that benefited the club’s members and wider community.

These days, you can find members like Diane, the club’s president, sticking approach shots close to the pin and then settling in under cover and the shade to watch others play their rounds.

“It’s a game changer for us,” she said.

“We love where we live, but the chance to escape the sun and get into some shade after a round of golf is something club members are loving.

“It also just adds to our club house and provides a more complete space for events.

“We appreciate the support and partnership of Wambo Wind Farm – come out for a hit anytime!”

In the first round of funding from the Wambo Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund, the Bell Golf Club also received funding to digitise their club house, ensuring payments could be made electronically and members scores and records could be kept securely.
